Since our founding, we have actively introduced hundreds of youth to the sport of archery. This includes competition archery, archery hunting, safe practices on the range and in the field, and the ethics of sportsmanship and respect. Our members donate their time to teach, train and manage these youth activities. And with the help of various local organizations, we are gladly able to provide and maintain all of the bows and equipment necessary for these programs.

ABOUT JOAD
Junior Olympic Archery Development is administered by USA Archery, the national governing body for the sport of archery, sanctioned by the US Olympic Committee to oversee US Olympic Archery. JOAD activities encompass beginner instruction to world championship competition. JOAD missions range from character development to international championship competition.

The JOAD youth program runs Summer and Winter classes.

ALL EXPERIENCE LEVELS WELCOME
No experience? No problem? Boys and Girls of any skill and age up to 18 can join. Our volunteers are experienced, skilled, dedicated, and patient. Many of the youth in our programs are brand new to archery.
NO EQUIPMENT NECESSARY
With the help of many local organizations, we are able to furnish and maintain all of the bows and equipment for our youth programs and activities. You are also welcome to bring your own equipment.
